• Two prenatal visits: one jointly with your primary and secondary doulas and one with your primary

• Guidance in identifying desires and preferences for labor, birth, and baby care and creating a Birth Preferences document to help communicate with care providers.

• Continuous support and non-pharmaceutical pain relief tools for labor and birth at home and/or in hospital

• Two postpartum visits: your secondary doula will come check on you during your hospital stay or shortly after you arrive home; your primary doula will visit your home a couple of weeks after the baby’s birth.

• Resources and referrals for breastfeeding, community support, and other needs.

• Phone and email support during pregnancy and postpartum and 24/7 phone support for urgent concerns and labor.

• Postpartum lactation support.

• Invitations to monthly Mommy Social and Guest Speaker Series.

• Subscription to our quarterly electronic newsletter with pregnancy, postpartum and parenting articles and tips.

• Discounts on our pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting classes.

Where We Work

From our base in Redwood City, we travel south to Menlo Park, Palo Alto, Sunnyvale, and Santa Clara. We go northward to San Carlos, Belmont, San Mateo, Burlingame, Millbrae, Daly City, and South San Francisco. Occasionally we work with clients in San Jose or San Francisco. We have worked at the following hospitals: Cal Pacific Medical Center, St. Luke’s Hospital, UCSF, Seton Medical Center, Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital (Stanford), Mills Hospital, Sequoia Hospital, Kaiser Hospital (Redwood City and Santa Clara), Washington Hospital, El Camino Hospital. We also are happy to attend home births.
